In contrast to many of the previous reviews, I had a great experience here with friends. We were seated immediately and I felt that the service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was pretty empty and the ambiance in general isn't the best, but the restaurant for the most part seemed clean. It's definitely not the most trendy place, but there is nothing wrong with that for a change! As for the food, overall it certainly isn't the best I've ever had, but it sure is yummy and it comes with some entertainment! For appetizers we ordered the veggie tempura, crab meat and cream cheese "lagoon," and the gyoza pan-fried chicken dumplings. The dumplings were perfectly crispy and the dipping sauce was tasty. The other appetizers were good, but nothing extraordinary. For the main course I tried the hibachi shrimp, veggies, and of course the fried rice. The fried rice was definitely a hit and I was pleasantly surprised with how much flavor was packed into the veggies! I was bummed that we missed happy hour, however, we quickly discovered that they also have a REVERSE happy hour! Normal happy hour is M-F 3-7 pm and reverse happy hour is from 9 pm - close. They also have daily specials each day of the week. They also have a magician! He stopped by our table and did a mini show that lasted about 10 mins. It was definitely a nice touch and would imagine that it would be especially fun if you had kids. Easy, free parking outside. Will be back again!

When I say I am outdoorsy, I don't just mean getting drunk on patios. I'm more like the, I love you to the mountains and back in the dead of summer wearing my high heel boots type of woman. Yes that extreme, yet with all that being said, don't come here for a patio lunch. It's so disappointing they can't seem to get their outdoors area put together. I have been coming here for years, eaten outside twice and never been impressed. Do come here for lunch though! The Hibachi is great for dinner, I've done that a few times. Yes it's yummy, fascinating to watch, especially when you have little ones like myself. I think they are winners at lunch. You can't beat their $10.00 lunch special. You get 3 sushi rolls plus a starter or dessert. It's a steal being a short drive from downtown. The Sushi is not the best I ever had, but I am always so pleased, never disappointed. It's delicious, every bite! So much food its torture trying to finish it all, but I do. I suggest you plan to grab you those Tokyohana chopsticks, but before you do, tell me, you like how I ROLL!

Customer service is GREAT Me and my friends come here at least every two weeks. Its a great place to catch up it not too loud. I was cold and the manager adjusted the temp for me(probably because the crowd was light, but im thankful)
